Submit Your Original Music

Right Here!

National FM seeks to encourage new  and little known music along side better known music.

New or unknown bands and musicians often have a great enthusiasm that permeates their music.

National FM is pleased to consider all genres of music and all musicians and bands (whatever their level of success) for its playlist.

National FM's parent  - The Radio Service also supplies In House Radio Services for business such as the type you  hear in department stores. It is likely these will  also feature some (of the best) new music providing a platform that would not normally be available.

Guidelines For Submissions

1       By submitting music to this site you agree to be bound solely by UK law including UK copyright law and you are agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below

2      The work you submit must be copyrighted to you.  (If you do not hold the copyright you  must  have usage rights) Note: under UK law you are automatically the copyright holder if you are the originator of the work.  You do not necessarily have to have registered  the copyright, which may be the case elsewhere in the world. You do need to make sure it is your work or have usage rights.

3      All genres of music from classical to rock and roll and beyond can be submitted

4      Please submit music as an mp3. Important: Please be sure to fill in the meta tags. At the very least the Artist and music title. You drastically reduce the chance of being played if you do not

5    Please scan your  your files with your antivirus solution before uploading.

6    Make sure your files can be downloaded  from the link you send. It probably  wont be listened  to if there is no download available.  An example of this would be a YouTube link  or a paywall.

7    Again the work you submit must be copyrighted to you or you must  have usage rights  or show it is out of copyright. Please read point 8 for additional information about copyright

8     This service is offered as an opportunity for artists to showcase their work. The station is covered by blanket  PPL and PRS  licences.  If you are not represented  by PPL and or PRS then the situation is similar to an open mic night  you wont receive performing rights but it is an opportunity to showcase your talent and become better known.

It is a condition of submission that if you are not represented by PPL and or PRS you offer the music for us to play royalty free.  This means you accept no royalties will be paid by us to you outside of PPL or PRS.  To be clear by submitting your work you are agreeing to this condition. This may not be for everyone.  If this is not for you please respect the rights of others to do as they choose.

How To Submit Your Tracks

By submitting tracks to us you are agreeing to the following

1     That you have usage rights for the music you submit.

2      If we play a track, which you submit,  for which you do not have usage rights you agree to indemnify National FM, www.theradioservice.co.uk and all its subsidiaries and owners against any copyright or performing rights  claims.

If you are not represented by  PPL or PRS you are allowing us to play your music royalty free

4      Please submit music as an mp3. In general the best solution is to upload it to the cloud and send us the link  (or you can use the link below in point  6). Make sure you have filled in the meta tags (at least title and artist ) or your music probably wont get played.
